Youth at St. Cuthbert's Wells Youth at St. Cuthbert's
The Sunday Group (for children aged 11 and under) meets every Sunday in term-time. They meet up in church at 10.00 am and then proceed to the Vicarage, rejoining the church family at the beginning of the Eucharist.

All the children meet together for singing, a story linked to a Biblical theme and prayer, before dividing into different groups according to age. Activities for children aged 3-10 include games, puzzles, handicrafts, stories and drama. The Creche provides care for babies and children up to 3 years old.

Activities with other churches

You are welcome to these events, whether you belong to another church, or no church at all - come and join us!

Re-Active 8-11 is an ecumenical youth club for 8-11 year olds. It meets every Monday evening in term time from 6.30 to 8.00 pm in the Methodist Hall. I am told that there are various activities, from craft work to skittles. Refreshments are available, and the evening ends with a quiet period, perhaps watching a video. Why not pay RE-ACTIVE a visit?

Have you heard that St Cuthbert's is going

The 'Bananas' Club has just celebrated its fourth birthday. Why is it called 'Bananas'? Well, at the planning meeting to launch the new club, our then curate said 'You'd be bananas to miss it' and the name stuck. It is aimed at primary school-age children, and meets in church usually on the second Friday of each month. You do not have to be a church member to join in the fun!! The children take part in a variety of activities - making things, taking part in team games, listening to stories.
