BANANAS CHILDRENS' CLUB“Bananas” - What is it? It is a Club for primary school age children. The name 'Bananas' was coined by our then curate who, when the Club was in the planning stage, said we would be 'bananas' not to go ahead with it. And here we are! What do we do? We have theme-based activity evenings which include craft, music, games and a story. A drink and biscuits are provided. When and where? The club resumed after its winter break on Friday 8th March, when the children made things for Mothering Sunday. The Club is held in St Cuthbert's Church, from 6-7.15pm, usually on the second Friday of the month (but please check the calendar or get in touch with the parish office). Who can join? Everyone in the primary school age group is welcome. You don't have to belong to St Cuthbert's or any church, just come along and join in the fun. The next meeting is on Friday 12th April. More information can be obtained by contacting the Parish Office (01749 676906) or fill in the form on the Contact Us page, and we will get back to you.
CHILL GROUP “St Cuthbert's Chill Group” is a group for those aged 10—16 years old, run by St Cuthbert’s Church. We meet once a month on a Friday between 7 and 9pm. We always welcome new members.
